International acts, who are also well-known local San Francisco favorites, ranging from hip-hop to folk to rock n’roll, who represent the present-day sentiment of the 60’s: Peace Love and Activism, will be featured on this stage. With a fresh perspective of authentic idealism grounded in reality, these bands bring to the West Fest: 40th Anniversary of Woodstock festival, an important sense of community and integrity around profound societal issues. Pamela Parker is a local proponent of peace activism, collaborating with both national women’s peace and social justice activists groups, as well as a member of WomenROCK. As an accomplished musician, Pamela Parker rises above the rest with her unique capability of crossing music genres and the ability to please anyone she performs for. She has something for everyone.
